Integration

This was a very interesting activity. I completed all the work in no time, but what gave me problems was that i could not upload my google site on the computer I was working on. I figured out that I was using Windows 98 Internet Explorer 5. So I could not access my Google site in order to finish the project. I had to get the Tech coordinator for our county install internet explorer 6 to my computer, because i did not access to do this on my account. It had to come from an administrator account. I hope everything works and that this is what was expected. I had a hard time coming up with a idea because i teach at the high school level. Most of the students i work with have very low math skills, especially in multiplication. So i decided to use the most missed factors that the students had on the last assessment and put them into an excel spreadsheet. The CSO's are 6th and 7th grade because the class that I did the project with is a reteach class for students having difficulty with basic math skills. Grades 2

Here is my Spreadsheet and Chart. I thought that this spreadsheet was fairly easy to do especially help function. I never did figure out how to copy and paste the formulas in the cells without changing them. What i did was type in the formulas in word and copied and pasted them from there. Then i would only have to change the cell number in order for the formula to work for each cell. I never knew the charts could determine the percentages the way they did. I think this would be neat to use for a test. You could figure out which questions the students as a whole had the most trouble with. The math teacher that I work with uses quizdoms, which basically does the same thing. When I first did my chart, I thought I saved over my worksheet. I didnt see the tabs at the bottom and ended up doing the worksheet twice. I was having trouble getting my spreadsheet to show up through my ftp site. I am going to keep working on it.

Grades 1

I have had previous experience in excel helping helping students in their computer applications class. The only problem I had was cutting and pasteing the curve column. Every time I would paste the curve column, I would lose the curve average column. So I finally just re-entered the values and went on. I never knew you could create charts that easy. Excel spreadsheets are completely different from the gradebook that we use at my school. The gradebooks we use automatically calculate the averages once the grades are put in.
